The 2008 Academic WorldQuest competition will take place on April 5 at the National Association of Home Builders at 1201 15th Street, NW.  This year we expect 46 teams to compete for prizes generously donated by The Maibach Foundation.  The full weekend also includes opportunities for the high school competitors to interact with young professionals in foreign relations and hear from some experts in the field.  Look at the links below for more information.

We congratulate all of the teams who participated in the 2008 Academic WorldQuest. The winner of this year's competition is the team from the North Carolina School of Science and Math who was sponsored by the International Affairs Council of Raleigh. The second place team is from the Oley Valley High School, sponsored by the World Affairs Council of Greater Reading. The third place team is from the Dupont Manual High School, sponsored by the World Affairs Council of Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The fourth place team is from the Charter School of Wilmington, sponsored by the World Affairs Council of Wilmington. The fifth place team is from Scarsdale High School and was sponsored by the World Affairs Forum in Stamford, CT. Congratulations to the winners!
