Chairman's Circle

The Chairman’s Circle is a blue-ribbon support group of the World Affairs Councils of America. Our mission is to raise the profile of our organization, and to engage grassroots America in world affairs in order to advance our mandate: “It’s your world. Know it!”

Access is the benefit of membership. Doors open to members of the Chairman’s Circle for meetings with the people who make and influence foreign policy in the United States and abroad.

Your annual membership includes access to exclusive events and elite-level briefings available only to this select group. Past events have included private State Department briefings, a visit to the Pentagon, an overnight stay on a U.S. aircraft carrier, briefings at Scotland Yard with the chief of London’s counter terrorism unit, an audience with the Serbian Ambassador to the U.N., and private luncheons with the Deputy Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and with the Iranian Ambassador to the U.N. at his New York City residence.

In addition to these special events, you will receive VIP treatment during WACA’s Annual Conferences, including access to a hospitality suite where members may relax between sessions, and priority seating at the annual Chairman’s Dinner, a feature at our national conference.

The minimum membership fee of $1,000 a year assures your access to the exclusive events of the Chairman’s Circle. Membership in a local World Affairs Council is not a prerequisite for membership in the Chairman’s Circle.

We hope that you will join us and become a part of this vibrant group. Joining is simple: simply fill out the registration form and send it to the WACA along with your payment.
